Sophia Tatar is a 12th grader at Phillips Academy. She studies higher mathematics with the MIT PRIMES program and is a two-time AMIE qualifier. She has been actively teaching, tutoring, and developing curricula for six years now. Having taught students from many different countries and levels of knowledge (from kindergarten to graduate level), she has extensively studied learning patterns.  Sophia has been lecturing at the Ross Mathematics Program in Ohio for two summers now. Her studies of advanced materials in the areas of number theory, multivariable calculus, knot theory, linear algebra, competition math, game theory, incidence geometry, and more propel her hope to inspire others to tickle their brains with some math as well.
